Gladiol Riska has a symmetric flower arrangement. Its petals has various colors, the upper petals are purple with white stripe and orange edges while the lower petals are greenish yellow with orange edges. The length of the stalks reaches 129 cm and its flowers are particularly big.

The production of flower reaches 14 buds/stalk, particularly the blossom age around 45 days while its harvest age is 70 days and flowers particularly remain fresh up to 15 days. This variety is also slightly resistant to Fusarium wilt disease and highly adaptive at 600-1400 m above sea level.

The innovation of this variety provides farmers with more alternatives of cut flowers. It is also prospective to be widely developed by national horticultural agro industry
