Bitter Taste Removal Formula for Orange

One way in to process an orange is to juice it. Hence, the main constraint of it is the bitter taste that caused by the limonene and naringin contents.

There are two bitter taste removal formula for orange juice, i.e formula A-1 for peeled orange and formula A-2 which are to be applied for one minute after washing the orange under the water flow, mixture with the fruit’s sugar after becoming juice or the adding of water and formula B.

The superiority of this technology is easy to use, cheap, and can remove the bitter taste so the content of limonene which was 13 – 14 ppm became less than 7 ppm when its became juice.

This technology is potential to be developed and commercially used by the household industry, farmer groups, etc.
