The superior variety of Halina – 2 is a further development of Halina – 1. This variety is the result of ZIOF-0050 accession and JPK-K genotype code which was released 2006.

The average production of Halina – 2 is 10.41 t/ha. Contain starch, volatile oil, and fiber significantly less different from Halina – 1. The difference between the two varieties lies on the color of rhizome. Halina – 2 has brownish color while dirty white for Halina – 1.
